In the game, whenever you complete a stage that consumes stamina, there is a chance of a link skill leveling up, depending on the level of the link in question.

This means that every 1 additional stamina raises the additional chance by 0.0125%, and every 5 would raise it by 0.0625%.

It’s 0.05% per STA for stages between 0 and 20 STA (up to 1%), and only afterwards it becomes 0.0125 per STA.

An extra chance of leveling up links has been assigned to each STA-consuming stage, and as a rule of thumb, the higher the STA required, the higher the chance. Between 0 and 20 STA it’s a bonus chance of 0.05% per STA, and above 20 STA the bonus chance becomes 0.0125% per STA. For example:
